Jess Lambert

Jessica was a Disney savant from the moment she could crawl. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, her passions were sparked by classics like The Little Mermaid and Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride. It helped her develop a deep appreciation for cinema that eventually landed her in film school.

During her studies at the prestigious Columbia College of Chicago cinema program, she had a front row seat for Disney’s evolution to a new era headlined by Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur. All the while, she was disturbed to realize some out there felt good art was only something that generated sadness or depression.

Jess refused to believe that.

This sparked a decision to travel to Los Angeles, pursuing her dream of one day directing a Disney movie. It was there when she drew the sudden inspiration to watch the entire movie catalogue in the company’s history. As she began her research, a suggestion to document the journey from her mother led to the inception of a new project: Every Disney Movie Ever.

Jessica had no idea at the time, but this adventure would lead to the discovery of some incredible forgotten classics. Not to mention, it would connect her with fellow fans who shared her passion. What seemed like a fun side project has transformed into a nine-year journey that has her so close to the finish line.

She doesn’t know what the future holds after that. One is certain. She’s ready to embrace it with open arms.
